I made this apron for my beautiful daughter, Bri who is working as a cook at a camp this summer. My family has a passion for word plays, so they were a must for this project.
I started by cutting shapes from the kitchen cartridge. Then I laid wax paper over the shapes I was not using and sponged paint into the area I wanted. You can see that I goofed and went outside the line. Luckily for me, I was able to rub it off. I used plain old craft paint. You know it doesn't wash out of clothes, if you ever gotten any on you! (I've also painted rugs successfully.) Finally, I outlined the shapes with a black paint marker and added the words with a white paint marker. She loved it and so do I!
